Activity Away from System

Created by TeamTrace Support, Modified on Thu, 19 Feb at 5:02 AM by TeamTrace Support

If the system detects that the user is idle (based on the defined idle timeout policy) and the setting is enabled, a popup will appear asking the user to specify their inactive time period. The added time will then be displayed in the web app under the Productivity module.

Desktop App

Popup Form Fields:

  • From: The time when the user left the PC.

  • To: The time when the user resumed activity on the PC.

  • Select Activity: Company-created activities will come to select.

  • Description: Users can enter any additional details here.

Functionality:

  • On clicking + Add, the entry will appear in the table below (entries can be removed if needed).

  • When you click any entry, it will appear in the form field and can be modified.

  • On clicking Save, the data will be saved.

  • Overlapping time periods will not be allowed.

  • The tracker will automatically resume after the popup submission.

Web App

  • Settings > Productivity > Idle Timeout Policy: Add another column named “Idle Activity Form”

  • The toggle for the Idle Activity Form is disabled by default. It should become enabled only when the main Idle Timeout Policy switch is turned on, but the form toggle itself will remain off. It must then be enabled manually.

  • The Idle Activity Form setting will determine whether the Idle Activity Form is displayed in the desktop app.

  • Desktop Application

    • The form fields and functionalities work correctly when the user becomes idle.

    • I am able to select an activity and add the entry.

    • I can also remove the entry after saving.

    • After completing the activity entry, the popup closes as expected.

  • Web Application

    • Under People Activity, I can see that screenshots are being added automatically on behalf of the user.
      Issue Observed
1.) In the web application, under Productivity > Idle Timeout Policy, if the Idle Timeout (Action) is set to “No”, the idle popup is still appearing in the desktop application.
      Expected behavior:
When Idle Timeout Action is set to No, the popup should not appear in the desktop application.

2.)However, under My Activity, I am not able to see the screenshots.
3.)Unable to download and delete screenshots under People activity.
